Jim, my wee bother, was always full of fun. Had a very big heart and not a lot would get him down.
Jim and I were very close. He left behind 3 sons, 1 daughter and 10 grand children. He only got to
see 1 of them. Jim took ill phoned me at work and said he had a very bad stomach pain, he was
doubled up with pain. I phoned for an ambulance. He was admitted to hospital that night. When I
phoned the hospital they said it was an ulcer and they were going to operate next morning which they
did.My dad went up to visit Jim at 3oclock. Jim kept telling dad he was fine and wanted to go
home.Nurse told me on the phone the operation went well and I told them to tell Jim I would be up at
the 7oclock visit. Dad said Jim started acting all funny but dad thought at first he was joking as
he was always playing tricks. Dad then saw he was not joking and called the nurse. Dad was told to
leave the room. The nurses went to my dad 15 minutes later to tell him Jim had passed away. They did
a post mortem and told us cause of death was Septicaemia.
It was Dad's birthday that day and I never got to see Jim again.I miss him so much cant believe he
has gone,we will be together again some day miss you more than words can say.

But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said,
"I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed

There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
